Current Policies and Procedures at LFC
Until further notice, due to COVID-19, the Lakeshore Food Club has transitioned, temporarily, to a drive-up food box distribution. LFC Food Boxes will be prepackaged and based on household size. For current LFC members, all points that are unused for the month of March as of March 18, will be rolled over to the month that the LFC reopens for normal distribution. The monthly fee will be waived during the current drive-up food box distribution.
Any Mason County households in need of a box are asked to pre-register by using the form below or by calling the Lakeshore Food Club at (231) 480-4334
The Lakeshore Food Club will be contacting those who pre-register with pick up procedures and available times. Please know that the boxes will be distributed on a first come, first served basis for those who pre-register. Boxes are not guaranteed to those who do not pre-register.
Any Mason County household earning 200% of the Federal Poverty Level or below is eligible to become a member of the Lakeshore Food Club. Households are classified as a single person or a group living as one unit for whom food is customarily purchased and shared. For example, a husband and wife, domestic partners, or parents and children would be covered under the same membership.
If you live outside the Lakeshore Food Club service area, or are unable to apply for membership at this time, please view our list of other area pantries and food resources. Please contact these agencies for program specifics. You may also call 211 or visit 211.org for a complete service directory.
Thank you to our members and our community for their flexibility!
