OUR STORY
The Lakeshore Food Club is the result of collective efforts by individuals and organizations pushing for positive change to build a stronger, healthier community.
During the planning stages, we surveyed area food pantries and consumers, finding a great need for not only food assistance, but training in areas of financial literacy, workforce development, healthy eating, etc. Our team then extensively researched pantry programs, methods, and models for best practices.
A centralized location of resources, including food access with expanded hours and an emphasis on consumer choice, was identified as a solution to serve families and persons in a way that promotes dignity and self-sufficiency.
OUR MISSION
Provide dignified access to nutritious food and resources to those in need in our community
VISION
To be a leader in community partnerships to build bridges that guide individuals to self-sufficiency.
